More About Dr. Susskind

 The Timeline

1983 to 1988 - Steven P. Susskind attends Rutgers University, majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Communications. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree.

1988 to 1992 - Attends the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He graduates in the top third of his class, one out of only two to score perfectly on the Practical Exam in the North East Regional Boards.

1992 - Dr. Susskind receives certification to practice dentistry by the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry on July 16!

1992 to 1993 - Dr. Susskind completes his residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey.

1993 - Dr. Susskind receives certification to practice dentistry in the state of New York by the New York State Board of Dentistry.

1996 - The Susskind Dental practice moves to East Brunswick, New Jersey as Susskind Dental. Dr. Susskind becomes known as “The New York doctor with a New Jersey address.”

1999 - Dr. Susskind completes an intensive 12-month training program in Dental Implant Tooth Replacement Therapy. He becomes certified to restore dental implants manufactured by Nobel Biocare, 3I Biomet, Zimmer, and Stryker (just to name a few).

2012 - After 15 years on Cranbury Road, Susskind Dental relocates to its current home on Brier Hill Court. It opens with a fully computerized, state-of-the-art dental facility.

2014 - Dr. Susskind is honored by the East Brunswick Education Foundation for his continued commitment to his profession, the East Brunswick community, and the growth of the educational system for future generations.

2014 to 2019 - Dr. Susskind is selected to an elite list by Top Dentists of New Jersey as one of the best dentists in the state.

2015 - The Middlesex County Dental Society for the New Jersey Dental Association selects Dr. Susskind as a board member. He also becomes a mediator for their Peer Review Committee.

2017 - Dr. Susskind is elected to the high position of Chairman of the Peer Review Committee for the Middlesex County Dental Society.

2019 - Dr. Susskind continues his practice with his elite team in top-tier dentistry, leading to glowing reviews across the board. He was also selected by his peers as one of New Jersey’s Top Dentists via N.J. Monthly — an honor limited to approximately 1% of all dentists in the state.
